Privacy Policy

How Vetttd collects, uses, and protects information across Vetttd Story and Story for Hiring.

Effective date: July 23, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to Vetttd’s websites, Vetttd Story, and Story for Hiring. It explains how we handle information when candidates build or share a Story and when company teams use Story for Hiring.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including account details, company details, workspace membership, support requests, and Story content. We also collect the information needed to process purchases, such as a Stripe checkout session and purchase status; Vetttd does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.

We collect limited technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service, such as device and browser information, IP address, pages visited, and event logs.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide the service, create and secure accounts and workspaces, process purchases, send service communications, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and improve reliability and usability.

A candidate’s Story is not shared with a company merely because the candidate created an account or viewed a Talent Call. Story for Hiring records an explicit submission before making that Story available to the relevant company workspace.

4. How information is shared

When a candidate explicitly submits a Story to a Talent Call, the candidate’s submitted Story and the information associated with that submission are made available to the company team authorized for that Talent Call. Company teammates may use that information only for legitimate hiring and evaluation purposes.

We use service providers to operate Vetttd, including identity, hosting, database, email, analytics, and payment providers. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the security, rights, and integrity of Vetttd and its users.

5. Your choices and access

You can update account information and manage access available within the product. Candidates can control whether to submit a Story to a Talent Call and can use available product controls to withdraw company access after submitting. Withdrawing access does not require a company to delete records it is legally required or independently permitted to retain.

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping obligations.

6. Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and the applicable relationship.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the current effective date on this page and provide additional notice when required.
